The shooting of Chandra Siddartha's untitled film starring Sharwanand and Padma Priya is going to begin on the 27th of this month. Padma Priya is a malayalee heroine.Chandra Siddartha says he wanted to give a gap between Houseful and this current movie and eventually decided Houseful would release on May 1.

Houseful meanwhile is in the last stage of post production. The Sharwanand starrer emanates lot of positive vibes unlike Idhi Sangathi he adds and says it has been neatly packaged, it is meaningful and a sensible film. Balabadra Patruniramani had narrated this story to the director during Madhumasam but since he had already committed to Madhumasam, he went on with that project.

NTR to portray Brahmin’s role

The regular shooting of a film in the combination of NT Rama Rao and Ileana under the direction of VV Vinayak, presented by Kodali Nani and produced by Vallabhaneni Vamsi was launched in Hyderabad on October 24. It is also well aware that NTR is playing dual roles. NTR also has a passion to do different kinds of roles and this time he is donning a Brahmin’s role, while the other character will be a mass character. Ileana is pairing up with NTR as a girl from an upper caste family, Ramaprabha is playing the grandmother of NTR, Sayaji Shinde is playing DGP, while Kaajal Agarwal is playing his daughter. Kaajal Agarwal would be the heroine for NTR in his mass character. Devisri Prasad is scoring for the flick and the producer is making efforts to release the film by next summer.

‘Yagam’ is getting ready

The film ‘Yagam’ starring Navadeep, Bhumika and Kim Sharma in the lead roles has completed its shooting. Currently, the post-production works of the flick is going on. PA Arun Prasad of ‘Tammudu’ and ‘Gowtham SSC’ fame is directing the film. Raju and Praveen are producing the film on Silver ScreenMovies banner. Bhumika’s husband Bharat Thakur of Downtown Films Pvt. Ltd is presenting the movie.

The flick is a romantic action entertainer. Navadeep is playing the role of a bar assistant working in Bangkok and Bhumika plays an air hostess in the film. The film has extensively shot in the locales of Malaysia and Bangkok. Manisharma is scoring the music for this film.

Here's a dekko at Mithun Chakraborty's begger look in his forthcoming children's film Zor Laga Ke Haiya. It took make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad, at least two hours to put on the Mithun's make-up, hair and the beard. Apart from the long time it took to get into the look, he had to fight it out in the heat as most scenes were shot outdoor in the sun. To top it all, for many scenes, he had to sit atop a tree, climbing with the help of a rope ladder. So the hairy look really got to him. Zor Lagaa Ke Haiya, directed by Girish Girija Joshi (assistant to Raj Kumar Santoshi), is about a group of children, who treat a tree as their home and play ground. A construction giant wants to raze the tree to build a multi-storied building over there. The kids start a tree Chipko Movement with the help of a homeless beggar played by Mithun. "Apart from taking time in putting it on, we were shooting outdoors and it used to be very hot. Naturally, Mithun da would also feel the heat and it used to make him irritable. But the look was so perfect that even some people who know him very well, could not recognise him on the first day of the shoot," says Girish.
