Pawan,Mahesh troubling producer?

This producer might have felt happy when he got the dates of present biggest stars of Tollywood. But, now he is in a dilemma which is causing him a big headache We are talking about producer Sinaganamala Ramesh who is producing movies with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Prince Mahesh Babu. Sinaganamala Ramesh succeeded in getting crazy combinations together but he was not able to make them work.

If we go into the matter, Pawan Kalyan's 'Puli' completed 50% of the shooting when he decided to start campaigning for PRP. So, shooting of this film was put on hold temporarily. On the other hand, Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Varudu' in the direction of Trivikram did not go on to floors till now citing various reasons.

With this phenomenon, Ramesh who brought finance on these two films is very much worried now-a-days. He is spending all the time thinking when these two films complete their shooting, what would be the end result of the movies.

"King turns Lion"?

King Nagarjuna is getting ready for his next film after tasting success once again with his recent release 'King'. Despite the mixed response, King is making good collections in the 4th week of its release also. As per latest reports from film industry, Nag is going to come as 'Lion' in his next film. D.Siva Prasad Reddy, producer of 'King' has already announced that he would do his next project with Nagarjuna only. Director Boyapati Seenu, who directed 'Badra' and 'Tulasi' in the past is going to direct Nagarjuna for the first time.

It seems that Nag is concentrating mainly on powerful mass titles like 'Don', 'King' and now 'Lion'. So, let's wait and see whether 'King' Nag turns into 'Lion' Nag shortly.

Prabhas’s eight pack for Billa

Prabhas is undoubtedly the most macho hero of entire Telugu film industry at present. It is learnt that he displayed his eight pack abs in his forthcoming stylish flick Billa in the direction of Meher Ramesh. Anushka, Namitha and Hansika Motwani are doing female leads in this film. This film is the remake of old classic Don. Krishnam Raju plays the role of cop who is on the trail of Prabhas. Shooting of the film is complete but for a couple of songs. The music scored by Mani Sharma will be launched on 14th/15th of March. Producers are planning to release the film either in the last week of March or in the first week of April.

Jai Ho song for Congress campaign

Congress party has bought the rights of Oscar award winning track ‘Jai Ho’ (from Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire film) for their election campaign for the forthcoming elections slated for April 2009. Music label T Series holds the rights. The lyricist Gulzar expressed his displeasure about political party using such beautiful lyrics as a part of their campaign.

Katrina perfects her Hindi

When director Prakash Jha gave Katrina Kaif a character who needed to speak pure fluent Hindi in ‘Rajneethi’, he must have had something in mind. He is one guy who is spoken about in Bollywood circles as an epitome of determination and confidence and his choice has finally proved to be just perfect.

Katrina’s English soaked Hindi accent that has so far been a topic of many discussions will take a diversion towards the positive after ‘Rajneethi’ hits the screens.

It is reported that in one of the scenes Kat was supposed to deliver a long speech in chaste Hindi. For a girl who has been brought up in Britain, it can be assumed what a task that must have been. When many on the sets were wondering if Katrina could take it off the actress took everyone by surprise including the director by her dedication and delivering the speech exactly as he wanted it.

From what we hear ‘Rajneethi’, will see Katrina portraying the character that has been inspired from the life of Sonia Gandhi and will be seen making long speeches in big political meetings.

After Aamir, it’s SRK with Murugadoss

it’s no more U-turn for Murugadoss. Sweeping success overnight with his ‘Ghajini’, the auteur happens to be the ducky lad for Superstars of Bollywood. Earlier, Murugadoss had stated about making couple of Tamil flicks and then getting back into the Hindi Film Industry.

Perhaps, the scenario is different now as King Khan doesn’t wanna let his best opportunity of teaming up with this stupendous filmmaker slip off. Sources from Red Chillies Entertainment have revealed that SRK and Murugadoss would be catching for their script discussions.

And if buzzes are believed to be true, one of the scripts that would be presented to SRK was actually penned for Surya. Well, Shah Rukh Khan and Murugadoss are so keen on gearing up for the genre of ‘Romance’. So, who’s gonna produce this film?

Would it Shah Rukh himself or Yash Raj Productions known for churning out best poignant love stories in the past?

‘DDLJ’ completes continuous run of 700 weeks

In 2001, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) – a movie which needs no introduction, broke the continuous-exhibition record, established by the movie ‘Sholay’ at Minerva Theatre (5 years: 1975 – 1980). And now as of March 2009, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ has set yet another record by completing “700 weeks” of continuous play in Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theater. This makes ‘DDLJ’ one of the largest grossers in Indian film history and is still counting!

But reportedly the star asked him to come up with a full length role for him in some other film in the future.This is exactly what happened to film maker Sooraj Barjatya as well. Barjatya too had knocked the doors of Salman requesting him to do a supporting role and came back failing to get a positive answer. It is a well known factor that whatever be the fate of his films, Sallu’s fan following has not reduced one bit. Now it is high time the so called bad boy of Bollywood sign a solo hero project and taste success once again.
