However, the iron fist of director Shankar has been stopping all these efforts. Meanwhile, reliable sources have informed us that the film happens to be a futuristic thriller and the story begins in the year 2400 AD. Superstar Rajinikanth is said to have a double role in this, one as an eccentric genius scientist and the other as a robot who looks very much human. Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest flick 'Mithrudu' passed the censor certification and got U/A certificate. It is learnt that, censor board members appreciated the film crew for taking a neat family entertainer. Film cleared the censor works without any cuts. Mahadev is making directorial debut with this film. Buxom beauty Priyamani is paired with Balayya for the first time. Mani Sharma's music got good applause from all over. 'Mithrudu' is hitting theatres on May 1st.

Mahesh to do two films together
Sensing the delay happening in between the releases of his movies, Mahesh Babu has taken a nice decision to do two movies together. Right now he is acting in Varudu in the direction of Trivikram. It is going to be huge budgeted action entertainer to be shot extensively in exquisite locations and sets. His next movie in the direction of Gowtam Menon will be starting in the month of August. AR Rehman will compose music. Manjula – sister of Mahesh Babu – will produce this movie on Indira Creations banner. These two movies will be shot simultaniously and would be released in the year of 2010.

The shooting of Chandra Siddartha's untitled film starring Sharwanand and Padma Priya is going to begin on the 27th of this month. Padma Priya is a malayalee heroine.Chandra Siddartha says he wanted to give a gap between Houseful and this current movie and eventually decided Houseful would release on May 1.

NTR to portray Brahmin’s role

The regular shooting of a film in the combination of NT Rama Rao and Ileana under the direction of VV Vinayak, presented by Kodali Nani and produced by Vallabhaneni Vamsi was launched in Hyderabad on October 24. It is also well aware that NTR is playing dual roles. NTR also has a passion to do different kinds of roles and this time he is donning a Brahmin’s role, while the other character will be a mass character. Ileana is pairing up with NTR as a girl from an upper caste family, Ramaprabha is playing the grandmother of NTR, Sayaji Shinde is playing DGP, while Kaajal Agarwal is playing his daughter. Kaajal Agarwal would be the heroine for NTR in his mass character. Devisri Prasad is scoring for the flick and the producer is making efforts to release the film by next summer.

‘Yagam’ is getting ready

The film ‘Yagam’ starring Navadeep, Bhumika and Kim Sharma in the lead roles has completed its shooting. Currently, the post-production works of the flick is going on. PA Arun Prasad of ‘Tammudu’ and ‘Gowtham SSC’ fame is directing the film. Raju and Praveen are producing the film on Silver ScreenMovies banner. Bhumika’s husband Bharat Thakur of Downtown Films Pvt. Ltd is presenting the movie.

Here's a dekko at Mithun Chakraborty's begger look in his forthcoming children's film Zor Laga Ke Haiya. It took make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad, at least two hours to put on the Mithun's make-up, hair and the beard. Apart from the long time it took to get into the look, he had to fight it out in the heat as most scenes were shot outdoor in the sun. To top it all, for many scenes, he had to sit atop a tree, climbing with the help of a rope ladder. So the hairy look really got to him. Zor Lagaa Ke Haiya, directed by Girish Girija Joshi (assistant to Raj Kumar Santoshi), is about a group of children, who treat a tree as their home and play ground. A construction giant wants to raze the tree to build a multi-storied building over there. The kids start a tree Chipko Movement with the help of a homeless beggar played by Mithun. "Apart from taking time in putting it on, we were shooting outdoors and it used to be very hot. Naturally, Mithun da would also feel the heat and it used to make him irritable. But the look was so perfect that even some people who know him very well, could not recognise him on the first day of the shoot," says Girish.

Anushka Sharma Loses Chance To Do Arundhati Remake

It’s touted as the biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema. And now Arundhati is all set to be remade into Hindi. Many producers including Ghajini’s Madhu Mantena were vying for the Hindi remake rights. But the producer of the Telugu producer M. Shyam Prasad Reddy has decided to remake the film in Hindi. Sonu Sood who played the main antagonist in the Telugu film and is all set to encore the same part in Hindi , confirms these developments. Confirming these developments Sood says, “I’m excited because we all worked very hard on making the Telugu original something special. Lots of producers wanted to remake it in Hindi. But now the original producer has decided to go for it.The Hindi Arundhati will be far more expensive and polished. We start shooting in June. ” Sood has already started preparing for the part . “The Hindi version will have to be severely revised.” The remakes expert Priyadarshan was approached to direct Arundhati in Hindi. Apparently Priyan has no time at such short notice. “And the original director Kodi Ramkrishna can’t understand Hindi. So we’re probably going with a guy named Rahul who did all the special effects in Tamil.” And now for the most crucial question. Who plays the central role of Arundhati in this woman-dominated film? Though no one is willing to commit to any name sources reveal that the makers of Arundhati were very keen to sign Anushka Sharma who starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Says the source, “They needed someone strong robust young and determined and very North Indian as the lead in Hindi. They really wanted Anushka Sharma . She was perfect. But the producer was under the impression that she’s under contract with Yashraj Films and unable to do any outside film. Now they might settle for the actress who played the lead in the Telugu Arundhati in Hindi. Coincidentally her name too is Anushka.” Surprisingly Arjan(Fashion) Bajwa who played the romantic lead in Arundhati is no part of the Hindi remake. When questioned Arjan says, “They haven’t asked me. Even if they had I wouldn’t do it. Have you seen what has been done to my role in the Telugu film?”

I have to appreciate the production department.producer invested a lot money for this movie .most of the movie was taken place in malaysia .prabhas action and dialogues penned by meher ramesh.anushka's sexy role in the movie.action part was very gud.choreography was gud,photography is excellent.2nd half was the plus point of the movie

First half of the movie is having the boring elements .one song with namitha is not at all gud, screenplay part was not dealt perfectly.lack of comedy track in the movie . On a whole movie is above average .as it was a summer time movie will hit the box office .

Is It True About Mahesh Babu?

Now the news is that Mahesh Babu is endorsing the Honda Company for its two-wheeler products. Already Mahesh is the brand ambassador for Thumbs Up. Now he is hitting with Honda in a commercial. The shooting is again being planned in Mumbai. The Ad is going to be shot on adventurous front. Mahesh Babu may be leaving for Mumbai shortly regarding this. But the news is not yet officially out. It is also said that a big sum of Rs 6.5 crores was offered to Mahesh for this Ad on a contract of 3 years.
